Accessing Shared Results in Via Foundry
Overview
You may have been invited to view analysis results shared with you through Via Foundry by your Omics Service Provider.
Via Foundry provides a secure, read-only environment for reviewing Projects, Runs, and published reports.
Getting Access
- Open the invitation email you received.
- Click the secure access link.
- Create a Foundry account or sign in if you already have one.
Once complete, the shared Project will appear in your dashboard.
What You Can Do
With shared access, you can:
- View Project structure and metadata
- Open published Run reports
- Download report files
What You Cannot Do
Shared access is read-only. You cannot:
- Edit Projects or Runs
- Re-run pipelines
- Modify or delete data
- Duplicate Runs
Upgrading Your Access
If you want to continue analysis or copy the data into your own environment, you can upgrade to full Foundry access.
Upgrading allows you to:
- Copy shared Runs into your own storage
- Continue analysis independently
- Manage your own Projects and data
