BaseSpace Integration
This tutorial explains how to get an API key from BaseSpace that you can use to automatically import your sequencing runs into ViaFoundry.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Register as a Developer
Register as a developer on the BaseSpace Dev Portal.

2. Create a New Application
Create a new application.

3. Set Application Details

| Description | For transfer of FASTQ files from BaseSpace |
4. Go to Credentials
Open your application’s Credentials tab.
5. Copy Your API Key
Copy the API Key provided — you’ll need it later.
6. Add your basespace API key in your profile
Go to the Via Foundry to your profile section to enter your API Key.
And click integration tokens.
And select basespace to enter your API key
7. Create dataset from BaseSpace
Goto Data link on the left menu, click Create Dataset
8. Choose your account
You can then click BaseSpace to choose your token to start browsing your projects in BaseSpace.
9. Choose your project
Now you're ready to choose a project, add your fastq files to your cart.
