Creating Projects

Projects are the foundational unit of organization within the platform. They help you organize all of your pipelines and runs efficiently.

How to Create a Project

There are two ways to create a project in Via Foundry

Project Navigation Tab

1. Projects Navigation tab Click the "Projects" tab on the left hand side of the app.
2. Create a Project Click the "Create Project" button.
3. Configure Project Enter the details for your project, including:
   • Project Name The name of your project.
   • Description Give your project an informative description.
   • Set Permission Choose between private or shared with a group.

Pipeline Navigation Tab

Runs, executions of a pipeline must belong to a Project. When launching a pipeline from the Pipeline Navigation tab you're able to create a new project.

1. Choose Pipeline Select a Pipeline from the Pipelines Page
2. Start a Run Select the Run button on the selected pipelines page.
3. Create New Project Type in the name of the new project. Select "Create [project name]".

Editing or Deleting a Project

You can edit or remove your projects at any time. To do so, follow these instructions:

1. Navigate to the Projects tab.
2. Click the Options button.
3. Select Delete from the context menu.

Alternatively, you can go to Project Settings and click on Click here to delete this project.

Warning: Editing and Deleting Projects

Ensure you're certain before deleting a project, as this action cannot be undone.
