  • Navigate to and access reports within the application.

Reports

Reports in Via Foundry serve as comprehensive summaries of data analyses and pipeline runs. They are essential for documenting, visualizing, and interpreting results generated during bioinformatics workflows. Below are the key features and roles of reports within the platform:

Purpose of Reports

  • Summarization of Pipeline Runs: Reports consolidate outcomes from various executed steps, such as quality control, data processing, and analysis.
  • Visualization: They incorporate graphical representations, tables, and charts to facilitate quick interpretation of data trends and results.
  • Quality Assurance: Reports provide quality metrics, including alignment statistics and coverage data, ensuring the reliability of results.

Types of Reports

  • Standardized Reports: These include predefined formats like HTML, data tables, and text files, allowing visualization without launching additional applications.
  • Interactive Reports: Tools such as DEBrowser, Jupyter Notebook, and Shiny Apps enable users to explore and analyze data interactively.

Accessibility

Reports can be accessed in the Report Tab of the pipeline's run page once the process is complete. They are organized into sections corresponding to different pipeline steps, including quality control, alignment, and downstream analysis.

AI Insights for reports

If your account has AI Insight enabled, you can use AI Insights to summarize and ask questions about supported report files. See AI Insights.

Tools and Formats

  • Integrated Visualization Apps: Via Foundry supports tools like DEBrowser, GSEA Explorer, and Seurat for specialized data visualizations.
  • Export Options: Reports can be downloaded directly from the Via Foundry web application for further analysis or sharing.
